Why do we this? Why do we put our heart and soul into making products, making ourselves vulnerable to what others think about them?

Yes it’s a form of creative expression. Yes it allows us to make things that we think should exist. But perhaps the most gratifying feeling is when our products bring joy to someone else. It’s as if they have understood you, understood what you made and why you made it.

One of the greatest human needs is to be seen and to be understood. And every once in a while, when that happens, you experience pure joy. Which is what I felt when a friend made this video of her receiving one of my handmade journals!! 🙂 I’m so happy that she likes her journal 🙂 🙂 🙂

Life is a but a string of many different moments. Moments like the ones above are worth treasuring forever.
