When you start out with your small business, you spend days and weeks and months, hoping to get an order from somewhere. I’ve written about what it’s like to be the owner of a small online store when you’re just starting out – there are long stretches of time between consecutive orders, and each new order feels like a miracle! 🙂

And so every once in a while when a completely random stranger does place an order from your store – it feels so great! The fact that someone sitting in a completely different part of the country somehow stumbled upon your store, got intrigued by what you have to offer, bothered to spend their precious time perusing through you store, actually liked a product in your store, and shelled out their hard earned money for it!

Sometimes, customers might tell you why they are buying your product – a birthday present, a wedding gift, a treat for themselves. They’ll tell you what struck them about your product that made them purchase it. You’d find yourselves amazed at the myriad of reasons why someone might like your product! 🙂
